This policy explains how Uncle Polar handles information when you visit this website (unclepolar.com). We keep it short and we collect as little as possible.

This policy covers the Uncle Polar website only. Our apps (for example Uncle Polar Spanish) have their own privacy policies, shown within each app.

Who we are

Uncle Polar is a trading name of Uncle Polar Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17312029, with its registered office at 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
Basic usage data. To understand how the site is used, we collect anonymous information about visits — such as the pages viewed, the site you came from, your approximate location (country level), and your device and browser type. This is not tied to your identity.
Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, Google may receive your IP address as part of serving those files.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website, and we do not sell your information.

To respond to enquiries you send us.
To keep the website working, secure, and to improve it.
To understand overall traffic and interest in what we're building.

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and improving the site, and on your consent when you choose to contact us.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the site — for example our hosting provider and Google Fonts. They process information on our behalf, and some may process it outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards apply. We do not share your information with anyone else except where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep emails you send us for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and keep a reasonable record. Anonymous usage data is kept only in aggregate.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. This website is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them through it.
